Makola Signs With New Club After Bucs Exit

Mpho Makola has been announced as the latest signing for Cape Town City, following his recent exit from Orlando Pirates.

After being linked with different clubs, including Kaizer Chiefs, Highlands Park and Black Leopards, the midfielder has been signed by Cape Town City.

The 33-year-old has been on City coach Benni McCarthy’s wishlist, since he became available after parting ways with the Buccaneers.

The former Free State Stars player impressed for McCarthy’s side in their friendly match against Chippa United last week.

The Mother City club took to their official Twitter account to confirm signing the Alexandra-born attacking midfielder.
